Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl is a tertiary amine with a linear aliphatic chain and are N,N-dimethyl substituted. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl is insoluble in water and its density is lower than that of water. So it floats on the water. It is soluble in alcohol. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl has basicity and is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and isopropanol. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl has the chemical properties of organic amines. Contact may irritate skin, eyes and mucous membranes. May be toxic by ingestion, inhalation or skin absorption. Used in the manufacture of other chemicals.

2. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl is also an intermediate for surfactants such as dodecyl dimethyl betaine, dodecyl dimethyl amine oxide, dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide,etc.

3. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl is widely used in daily chemical industry, washing industry, textile, oil field and other industries. It mainly plays the role of antiseptic, sterilization, washing, softening, antistatic, emulsifying and so on.

4. Amines, C12-14-alkyldimethyl is used in the following products: coating products, fillers, putties, plasters, modelling clay, inks and toners and polymers.
