This product can compete for dihydrofolate synthase to affect the synthesis of dihydrofolate, thereby inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria and coccidia. The effect of this product on poultry coccidiosis is similar to sulfaquinoxaline, but it has stronger antibacterial effect and can even treat poultry cholera and chicken typhoid fever.
