Vitamin C Liposome
Name: Vitamin C Liposome
CAS: 50-81-7
Feature:
Vitamin C Liposome is an enhanced form of the vitamin designed to achieve better nutrient absorption and utilization in the body. The term “liposomal” means the nutrient is encased in microscopic lipid spheres called liposomes. Liposomes are small spherical cells with an outer layer composed of fatty acids called phospholipids, extracted from sunflower or soybean. Liposomes also have an inner compartment composed of water and a water-soluble active ingredient. Water-soluble ingredients such as vitamin C are protected within the inner compartment by a liposomal structure.
The main benefit of Vitamin C Liposome is improved absorption. There is a threshold for the ability of our intestinal cells to take in higher doses of vitamin C. The bioavailability of Vitamin C Liposome is significantly higher than that of conventional vitamin C, which is almost twice that of ordinary vitamin C. Oral Vitamin C Liposome is often recommended as an alternative to intravenous (IV) vitamin C.
Vitamin C Liposome has the following applications/functions:
1. The disease scurvy is caused by Vitamin C Liposome deficiency and can be prevented and treated with Vitamin C Liposome-containing foods or dietary supplements.
2. Vitamin C Liposome distributes readily in high concentrations into immune cells, has antimicrobial and natural killer cell activities, promotes lymphocyte proliferation, and is consumed quickly during infections, effects indicating a prominent role in immune system regulation.
3. One of the causes of iron-deficiency anemia is reduced absorption of iron. Iron absorption can be enhanced though ingestion of Vitamin C Liposome alongside iron-containing food or supplements.
4. Vitamin C Liposome is one of the very strong and well known antioxidants. It is an antioxidant that has special significance for our skin, effectively protecting it from the effects of harmful external factors and free radicals.
5. Vitamin C Liposome performs numerous physiological functions in the human body by serving as an enzyme substrate or cofactor and an electron donor. These functions include the synthesis of collagen, carnitine, and neurotransmitters; the synthesis and catabolism of tyrosine; and the metabolism of microsome.
