Yeast Beta-Glucan
Product Details
Name: Yeast Beta-Glucan
CAS: N/A
Feature:
Yeast-β-Dextran, also known as dextran, is a polysaccharide. It exists in the mucus secreted by some microorganisms during their growth. Modern studies have found that Agaricus blazei contains the most abundant b-Glucan and has high biological activity. Yeast glucan is the first glucan found to have immune activity. It was first found to have antitumor activity in 63 years, and then it was found to have antibacterial and immunomodulatory effects. It has unique biological activity in cancer, hepatitis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypolipidemic and anti-aging.
Yeast Beta-Glucan has the following applications/functions:
Anti radiation and toxin, Antitumor, Lower cholesterol
1. Yeast β- Dextran can resist radiation and toxins. When ionizing radiation or chemical toxins penetrate biological tissues, the energy of ray particles or chemical molecules is directly absorbed by biological macromolecules, or other biological molecules undergo chemical changes through ion diffusion and free radicals, resulting in physical and chemical damage. Dextran’s unique inverted triple helix structure can neutralize toxins in the body and promote hematopoietic function. B-Glucan administration can enhance the generative activity of blood cells, including granulocyte production, monocyte production and erythropoiesis, resulting in better recovery from lethal doses of radiation or toxins.
2. Yeast β- The main goal of glucan in the study of anticancer function is to enhance the activity and phagocytosis of macrophages in higher mammalian tissues. β One of the functions of glucan is to enhance the ability of macrophages. Yeast glucan can improve the phagocytosis of macrophages by more than several times, and usually has a strong inhibition rate on mutant cells. While protecting and enhancing the combat ability of immune cells, it can further lock the “residual tumor cells” in dormant stage, drug resistance and subclinical lesions for targeted disinfection.
3. Yeast β- Glucan can reduce cholesterol. When B yeast glucan enters the human body, its unique triple helix structure determines that it will not be hydrolyzed into monosaccharides such as glucose in the gastrointestinal tract, but will combine with specific receptors, eventually enter the lymphatic system through the intestinal epithelium through endocytosis, and enter the blood system from the lymphatic system. Cholesterol in the liver will be transformed into cholic acid, which can help digestion and lipid prevention when reaching the small intestine, and then the cholic acid will be absorbed by the small intestine back to the liver and then transformed into cholesterol. Since yeast glucan can form a colloidal substance in the small intestine as dietary fiber to surround the cholic acid, the cholic acid can not be absorbed back to the liver through the small intestinal wall, but is discharged from the body through the digestive tract, Therefore, when the digestion of food in the intestine needs cholic acid, the liver can only absorb the cholesterol in the blood to supplement the consumed cholic acid, so as to reduce the cholesterol in the blood.
